弓の毛替えをしました　My bow re-haired

約10カ月振りに、弓の毛張替えをしました。

★ 工房について

いつもお願いしているのは、御茶ノ水にある、「クロサワバイオリン」さんの工房ですが、

いつものように予約メールを送ったところ、翌日返信が届き「4日間お預かりしたい」とのことでした。

修理等で超忙しく、4日間預けてほしいとのことでした。

そのため、今回は道を挟んで反対側にある、「下倉楽器」さんの工房を初めて利用させていただきました。

毎日練習しますので、4日間は預けられないということで・・・

仕上がりは写真のとおりで、綺麗に出来上がっています。

★ 張替後のパフォーマンス

持ち帰り、早速弾いてみると、音が（音の出だしが）くっきり出るようになったように感じます。

弦はそのままなので、単純に弓の毛のパフォーマンスが上がったということです。

張替する前は、まだ早いかな？と思っていましたが、替えて正解でした。

また、2本の弓の特性がそれぞれはっきり出ていて、今後も演奏する曲によって使う弓を変えてみたいと思います。

★ 弦交換 VS 弓毛替え

最近、弦の値段が異常に高いので、弦交換より、弓の毛交換を早めに行う方がパフォーマンス的によいのではないかと思いはじめています。

理想は、両方の交換なのでしょうけれど。

実は、弓はもう一本持っていて、そろそろ毛替えする時期なので、この際、別の工房も訪れてみようかと考えています。

I had my bow re-haired for the first time in about 10 months.

★ About Workshop

The one I always ask for is Kurosawa Violin's workshop in Ochanomizu.

When I sent the reservation email as usual, I received a reply the next day saying that they would like to keep it for 4 days.

They were very busy with repairs etc. and asked me to leave it for 4 days.

I'll be practicing every day, so I won't be able to leave it with you for 4 days...

Therefore, this time, for the first time, I used the workshop of Shimokura Musical Instruments, which is located across the street.

The finished product is as shown in the photo and is beautifully made.

★ Bow performance

When I took it home and played it right away, I felt that the sound (the beginning of the sound) came out clearly.

Since the string remains the same, it simply means that the performance of the bow hair has increased.

Is it still too early to replace it? That's what I thought, but I was right to change it.

Also, the characteristics of the two bows are clearly evident, and I would like to continue using different bows depending on the songs I play.

★ String chenge  vs  bow re-hair

Recently, the price of strings has been extremely high, so I think it would be better for performance to replace the bow hair sooner rather than replacing the strings.

The ideal would be to replace both.

Actually, I have another bow, and it's about time to change the hair, so I'm thinking of visiting another workshop at this time.
